OC Is Number One in the Nation for Luxury Home Price Gains

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are enjoying the start of the holiday season. 

It’s a wonderful time to live in Orange County, with sunny skies, mild temps, and a booming luxury market. In fact, OC is number one in the nation for luxury home price gains, which have surged 8.2% locally in the past year. As home values, so do loan limits. Recently, the FHFA limit for a conventional loan for a one-unit property in Orange County will top $1.2 million in 2025—an amount that is nearly double its 2016 limit of $625,500 but still barely above the county’s median home price.

One of the most remarkable things about the recently revealed gut-renovated, rebuilt Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris after a devastating fire is the fact that the coloring of everything is so light....the limestone looks like....limestone, not the dark grey we associated with this and many other historic structures in Europe.
